Rosie came to Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue heartworm positive and suffering from severely infected eyes. The infection was causing significant pain, and after careful evaluation, one of her eyes had to be surgically removed to give her relief and improve her quality of life. She is now healing from surgery and beginning her heartworm treatment — a critical step toward giving her the healthy future she deserves.

We are currently looking for a committed foster home in the local RDU area to support Rosie through her heartworm treatment and recovery. She needs a calm, loving environment where she can rest, heal, and feel secure. Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue will cover her medical care — we just need the home and the heart.
