When Max’s owner passed away, his world was turned upside down. Sadly, no one in the family wanted him. He was left without a plan, without care, and without a home… until Terri, who never knows how to say no, stepped up.

Max isn’t up to date on anything, and we don’t know the full extent of his health yet. He’s scheduled for a full vet workup including:

• Vaccines
• Heartworm & fecal testing
• Neuter surgery

He’s safe now—but he has a long road ahead.

Please, let Max’s story be a reminder: if you have pets, make a plan for them in case something happens to you. Too many seniors like Max are left behind simply because no one was prepared.

Max is currently located in the Raleigh, NC area, and we do not transport dogs. If you are outside the local area, you must be able to travel in person to adopt him. Adoption fee $300.  We are currently accepting applications but he will not be able to go to his new home until we have completed his vetting and neutering.
