Maria’s story is one of courage, resilience and the power of community. This sweet girl was rescued thanks to the teamwork of caring individuals and organizations — when our friends at K&D Rescue needed help, we didn’t hesitate.

Terri and David drove all the way to South of the Border to bring Maria safely into the Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue family. Maria is about 10-12 years old and appears to be a Corgi/Chihuahua mix. She has already faced many challenges in her short life, including suffering a stroke that left her with limited sight. But despite everything, she remains gentle, affectionate and eager for love. Now, she’s with us — and we’re committed to giving her the medical attention, support and comfort she’s always deserved.
