Biscuit is a 3-year-old AKC-registered Rat Terrier who recently came to us from a rescue in Virginia that is closing. He’s handsome, whip-smart and full of personality — but he’s also not your typical lap dog. Biscuit has some quirks: he’s shown resource guarding behavior, and once he bonds with someone, he can become quite overprotective.

He must be the only dog in a home with no children and needs someone experienced with behavior and training. With the right structure, clear boundaries and a confident adopter who knows how to be a leader, Biscuit has the potential to be a devoted and rewarding companion.
